Our Guest: Lorraine McBride is the Assistant Director of Advocacy at Step Up for Students. She has worked with the organization for seven years and manages a network of advocates supporting education choice. She trains faith leaders, advocates, and grassroots organizers on SUFS’s mission and messages. In addition, she leads advocacy campaigns such as organizing education rallies, school choice bill signing ceremonies for Governor Ron DeSantis, and coordinating scholarship parent communications with donors and lawmakers. Prior to Step Up, she spent nearly 10 years as a TV news producer across the South. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Broadcast Journalism from Florida A & M University and a Master of Public Administration from Belhaven University.
