Parent Volunteers - We Need You!
CAP IT Tampa is a volunteer-run organization
from the top down

Committees that need volunteers:

• Resources Team - gathering & executing
• Monthly Events Team - planning & shopping
• Monthly Event Chaperone
• Homecoming & Prom Planning
• College & Trades Fair Team - planning & executing
• Yearbook Team - editing, design & working with students
• T-Shirt and Yard Sign Lead - ordering & distribution
• Fundraiser Team
• Graduation Team (no senior parents)
• 8th Grade Promotion Ceremony - planning & executing

• All volunteers will be background-checked
• During registration you will be asked if you are interested in volunteering. If you select “yes” you will be sent our Volunteer Handbook and Volunteer In-take Google form. There you will be able to select which areas you would like to serve.
• If you are unable to volunteer we ask that you would consider making a financial donation towards snacks/drinks to be used at our CONNECT gatherings.

Here's how to help your student this year:

• Bring them regularly to events
• Read emails and communication from CAP IT
• Download and use the required app BAND and Wild Apricot for Members
• Volunteer - big or small - you help us be successful

Volunteers: During parent/guardian membership registration, you will be provided an opportunity to tell us how you're interested in helping. We will email you to discuss further. 

Volunteers must electronically sign a Volunteer Info and Waiver Form before volunteering.
