Parent Volunteers - We Need You!
CAP IT Tampa is a volunteer-run organization
from the top down

Committees that need volunteers:

• Resources Team
• Monthly Events Team
• Monthly Event Chaperone
• Homecoming & Prom Planning
• Yearbook Team
• Fundraiser Team
• Graduation Team (no senior parents)
• 8th Grade Promotion Ceremony (no 8th-grade parents)

• All volunteers working around students will be background-checked.
• During registration, if you select “yes” to volunteering you will be contacted by our Volunteer Coordinator about the application process. You will be able to choose where you'd like to serve.
• If you are unable to volunteer we ask that you would consider making a financial donation towards snacks/drinks to be used at events.

Here's how to help your student this year:

• Make CAP IT event attendance part of your routine so they get connected
• Read emails and communication from CAP IT
• Download and regularly check the BAND and Wild Apricot member apps
• Volunteer—big or small—your help contributes to our success

Your student will have a successful year with your help and our efforts. If they are struggling at events, please reach out to us so we can help. We have lots of students, and our goal is to help them as much as we can before they give up on connecting, but we can't assist if we don't know it is happening.
